She was born and raised as an Catholic in Manhattan's Upper East Side. Her parents at the Convent of the Sacred Heart which was a prestigious, religious and elite school. The girl was a lover of music as a child she learned to play the piano and at the age of thirteen, she wrote her first song. She performed at open mic nights. Her favorite singers included queen Michael Jackson Madonna, David Bowie. Upon completing high-school she was accepted into the Tisch School of Art of New York University where she was a music student. However, after finishing high school, she entered The Tisch School of Arts at the New York University to pursue a degree in music.
